Why do you love KPL? I love the close bonds between the sisters, how they are always pushing each other to grow by being a source of encouragement and support, and how they make the world a better place.

Why did you choose KPL? I recognized KPL’s pillars as something I wanted to contribute to and commit myself to. The sisters were super welcoming and actually valued everyone’s individualities, and therefore, created a place where everyone could be comfortable being themselves.

Why do you love KPL? I love KPL because of the strength of each sister and how much compassion and dedication is shown to bettering their community. 

Why did you choose KPL? I chose KPL because of how outspoken and brave the sorority is in social issues. I also loved the amazing bonds I had with each sister.

Why do you love KPL?: I love how outspoken the sisters are about issues they feel strongly about and how much they emphasize all three pillars. On top of that, the bonds that I have formed with sisters are irreplaceable - I know that they have my back through everything and I can always be myself with them. 

Why did you choose KPL?: I was drawn by how supportive the sisters were during rush, to each other and even to me (even though they didn't know me that well!). Also, all three pillars really resonated with me, as I grew up with only a brother, always wanted to learn more about my own culture and others', and wanted to help the community!

Why do you love KPL: I found a genuine family and home among my class and sisters. They accepted me for who I am without any hesitations despite my shortcomings and flaws. 

Why did you choose KPL: During rush I felt like sisters really cared and wanted to get to know me. The conversations I had with sisters went deeper than surface level and overall I really admired and looked up to how much sisters are capable of accomplishing.

Why do you love KPL? I love KPL because everyone here is always constantly trying to support, uplift, and empower each other. It was something I didn’t know I needed until I rushed!

Why did you choose KPL?  I chose KPL because I wanted to expand my horizons and make the most out of my college experience. I wanted to find a place where I could meet genuine and supportive people while also getting the leadership experience and connections I might need for the future.

Why did you choose KPL? I resonated with all of the pillars and what KPL stood for. All of the sisters were so welcoming and I truly felt as if I could be myself :)

Why do you love KPL? I love seeing how determined the sisters are about upholding the pillars, how supportive they are of each other, and how vocal they are about their passions as well.

Why did you choose KPL? I love what Kappa Phi Lambda stands for and the pillars really resonated with me. The sisters were also so welcoming and friendly during rush and I found many things in common with them.

Why do you love KPL: Everyone is accepting and supporting of each other regardless of the circumstance. Each sister is genuine and truly cares about you. 

Why did you choose KPL: I wanted to find a community where I belonged and felt accepted. The sisters at KPL opened up with welcoming arms and I felt an instant connection when I was at rush. I truly felt supported and loved and I ended each night with a smile.

Why do you love KPL? Sisters are really genuine and are always pushing us to be the best versions of ourselves. All of them are each unique in their own way and provide something special to the sorority. I love the connections and memories I have formed with sisters and I know I can always rely on them to be myself around!

Why do you love KPL? Sisters create such close bonds with each other consistently uplifting others and being supportive of everything anyone does, always speaking up for matters they think are important.

Why did you choose KPL? From the get-go, I had such riveting and engaging conversations with sisters that encouraged me to continue coming out to rush events. Having come from a predominantly Latino town and having mostly guy friends in high school, KPL was my opportunity to meet girls that shared the same beliefs, goals, cultures, and drives as me while also making lifetime friends.

KPL gave me the chance to start a new chapter in my life and the opportunity to get to know some truly genuine, uplifting, and driven women, who inspire me to continue growing and becoming my best self. I love the close friendships and will always treasure the memories I've made here. 

Why did you choose KPL? I chose KPL because after meeting the sisters at rush last semester, I felt like I truly clicked with the sisters as people on a more personal and deeper level. KPL felt like the perfect balance between having a good time on some occasions and making more meaningful connections other times, which marked the pivotal moment where I just knew I wanted to be a part of this amazing sisterhood.

Why do you love KPL? I love how much the pillars are emphasized through each of the Sisters and the sorority as a whole, and I have made strong bonds and relationships with the Sisters that I know will last through thick and thin. 

Why did you choose KPL? During rush I was able to see how close each of the Sisters were to one another, showing me a strong community that I wanted to be a part of! I also especially resonated with the Community Service pillar.
